Isu Nasional - Benfica have set out the precise terms of last summer’s biggest departures in their latest report and accounts. The sales of Álvaro Carreras to Real Madrid and Orkun Kökçü to Besiktas were the most lucrative, though profits were well below the headline fees.

The club said in a statement that the Carreras deal was set at 50 million euros. The gain was 36.627 million after deductions for the solidarity mechanism, commitments to third parties and the player’s net book value, with payment schedules taken into account.
